1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Temp .edu Email service ("Service"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Temp .edu Email provides temporary email addresses with educational domains (.edu) for legitimate purposes of accessing student benefits. The service offers:

• Free temporary emails valid for 1 hour
• Annual reservation option for $5.00
• Email receiving (not sending)
• Access via unique access key

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for:

• Registration on legitimate educational services
• Access to publicly available student benefits
• Educational identity verification

4. Prohibited Use

It is strictly prohibited to use the Service for:

• Illegal or fraudulent activities
• Spam, phishing, or malware distribution
• Copyright or intellectual property violations
• Harassment, threats, or defamation
• Identity falsification for illegitimate purposes
• System abuse or exploitation of vulnerabilities

5. Service Limitations

You acknowledge that:

• Free emails expire after 1 hour of inactivity
• Emails are only received when the page is open (for free accounts)
• The service does not send emails, only receives
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
• Non-reserved emails may be permanently deleted after expiration

6. Email Reservation

The annual $5.00 reservation guarantees:

• Access to email for 1 full year
• Email receiving even when offline
• Access recovery at any time
• Renewal notifications (30, 15, and 3 days before expiration)

Renewal is not automatic. Please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy in the section below.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

In accordance with Brazilian consumer protection laws (CDC Art. 49), we establish the following conditions for refunds:

• Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to request the cancellation and refund of your reservation within 7 days of purchase.
• Free Trial Period: Our service is provided 100% free of charge during the first hour. This period serves as a full trial so you can evaluate the platform and ensure it meets your needs before making any purchasing decision.
• Immediate Service Consumption: If, after paying for the reservation, you use the .edu email to register on third-party platforms (such as Adobe, Spotify, Canva, GitHub, etc.) to claim student discounts or benefits, the digital service will be considered fully consumed and utilized.
• Refund Exception: Given the nature of the digital service and the fact that a free trial was already provided, no refunds will be issued if it is determined that the email has been used to obtain benefits on third-party services after the paid activation.
• To request a refund (provided you have not used the email to claim third-party benefits after purchase), please contact our support team via email.

8. Privacy and Data

The use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not store emails after expiration (except for reserved accounts) and do not share data with third parties without consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for data loss, email delivery failures, or temporary unavailability.

10. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall we be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including loss of access to third-party accounts, loss of student benefits, or any other damage.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the website. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Cancellation and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel your account at any time, but payments already made will only be refunded if they comply with our Cancellation and Refund Policy (Section 7).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in competent Brazilian courts.
